Time trials is a "mock meet" and is extremely important! Swimmers swim every event in order to get a baseline time for the season. You can not swim in an A meet without a time. Also, it's a test run for operations -- everything from volunteers and cafe to automation and officials. Since there is no opposing team, we need extra help from parents (i.e. 18 timers, 4 stroke and turn judges, etc.). |

Let's close out the season with some "Fun in Sun"! RSVP NO LATE THAN JULY 16TH. Cost is $12 each for ages 11 & up and $10 each for ages 10 & under. Payment due in full by July 18th. Cash or check to a Team Parent Rep. Make check payable to Waters Landing Swim Team . This year's theme is "Fun in the Sun!" We will parade around the pool to show off our "Fun in the Sun" attire. Prizes go to those with the most outrageous attire! Swim team has exclusive use of the pool beginning at 3:30 PM. Dinner and dessert will be provided but you'll need to bring drinks for your family. We need volunteers to help decorate, set up and serve. Please see the job sign up if you can help. New this year: a dessert bake-off for all our spectacular family bakers. It's an informal contest much like our July 4th breakfast bake-off unless someone would like to organize it (See job sign up if this is you!). We will have judging and real prizes! 3:30 Swimming and Games (synchronized swimming & fun races) 5:00 Fun in the Sun Parade 5:30 Dinner 6:30 Awards Ceremony and slide presentation |
